We have the following questions related to deployment of BICC Datastore extracts and BIP files...

• Do we want to deploy DataStore metadata or Datastore extracts for BICC? There are API’s for both, but we cannot finalize a plan without knowing the context that needs deployed.

• Is there an automated way to move files from BIP and BICC to a PNC external storage system? OIC gen 2 API’s allow downloading files wherever the API is called – so we wanted to see if functionality like this exists for BIP and BICC.

    Gary,

    Metadata would be the column information for the VO, depending on your downstream integration you would need this information. The extract would give you the data for the VO's.

    With BIP you have options to send data to FTP servers, with BICCC you can send files to OIC External storage.
