In OAC, when we add fields to Rows , they are display as seperate columns and and each value as Row.
If we have option to show to Expand/Collapse will be more useful. It will save space and have good UX.
This is such a desperately needed feature that's always been available in Classic OBIEE.
Agreed. Having it in pivots (not just for pre-defined hierarchies) would be a great help.
Does the Row Expander extension help here? https://www.oracle.com/business-analytics/data-visualization/extensions/
@Bret Grinslade - Oracle Analytics-Oracle is this compatible for the latest version of OAC? The documentation looks a little dated and only mentions Data Visualizer.
@Bret Grinslade - Oracle Analytics-Oracle Extension is very basic and some temporary kind of workaround. Requirement is similar to this with all capabilities of Visualizations.
If you are not a BI Service Administrator then you would not be able to download this custom visualization extension. I really think this Visualization feature (being able to expand/collapse) could be helpful for DV Workbook performance reasons as well. For example, if the report opens with the Pivot table collapsed then it can be expanded to show more if the users needs that level of detail at that time. This would make the Visualization less overwhelming (for lack of a better term) as well.
Calculations in the Shared Objects folder and My Calculations should either be sorted alphabetically by default or else allow a right-click sort option. It's harder to find what you are looking for when they are listed in random order.

We have observed a potential issue with dataset refresh schedules when changing the Data Access mode. When a dataset is configured with Automatic Caching, a reload schedule can be defined to refresh the data at specified intervals. However, if the Data Access setting is subsequently changed from Automatic Caching to Live,…
Would like for the old classic BIP bursting feature to be fully Agent aware so that end users no longer need to be concerned with scheduling via the classic console or building out as many BIP reports just to support this one thing.
We have various data sources in Microsoft Fabric and need the ability to build reports in Oracle Analytics Cloud that connect to data sources in Microsoft Fabric. This is an unavoidable reality in today's complex data ecosystems. Microsoft Fabric requires authentication via Microsoft Entra. We opened an SR and Oracle told…
