Can we add clickable tiles in Oracle DV? I need to link through to another page in the same workbook.
Yes , Data Actions allowed on Tiles but not clickable but using RMB similar to other data actions
What is RMB(Right mouse button?)? This is not working on a tile.
Yes - you need to right-click to see the data action on tile. If you are requesting a "1-click" using left button, then please rename the title of this idea. I believe this is planned to have a 1-click drill-down in addition to the right-click. This is heavily requested by the majority of users. @Avinash Krishnaram-Oracle can confirm.
Thank you Rajakumar.
This feature is on the roadmap. Ideally the author will be able to specify the actions - for example, a single select performs a data action, a double click passes selected mark to a parameter. We will work on a detailed spec this year and it is planned work.
Thanks
Avinash
Thanks, but this I don't think this has been implemented for tiles. For other visualizations (table and barchart) it works fine, but unfortunately not for tiles. I have tried both tiles, same result.
See below. The right-click with data action is implemented for tiles. The 1-Click with data action is planned.
Thanks, unfortunately I do not get the same result. Can you please share a screenshot of the data action?
My mistake, we are using Oracle DV on premise.
I see. So if you are on Oracle Analytics Server. You should have this feature around March 2024 with most of features of Oracle Analytics Cloud. Please confirm it will solve this idea. Thank you

Background We recently identified an issue through an inconsistency in the number of records returned in an API response. This allowed us to notice, after the fact, that a fix had been applied that changed the behavior of an existing API. Problem We understand that information about resolved bugs is eventually made…
We need a way for non-admin users to view the backend/physical SQL queries executed by reports (via Session and Query Logs) without granting them full administrator access. OAC's custom Application Role model (Console > Roles and Permissions) allows selecting fine-grained permissions instead of assigning predefined roles.…

They hope that it will be included as a certified and supported data source in the next(Year 2027 ) OAS release. We would like to restrict the MCP to certain OAC application roles instead of all the users. Please help us to achieve this functionality.
