Is there a way to move the Print / Export links of an Analysis from the top to the bottom?

We've built a dashboard with multiple Analysis content and made the Print / Export links visible for each one. The ask is to move the links from the bottom of the Analysis output to the top. Is there a way to do this? I've only found the option to make the links visible / not visible.

Also when you add your analysis to your page you can select Properties then select view to pick a view. So you could put an empty static text view in your analysis then put on your page twice like this hard coding the empty view on the top one. Then customize the report links only on the bottom one to hide them.

Have you tried all the the styles? (on-prem you could add your own css but not in otbi on SaaS)

I don't think I'm following the accepted answer.

When done this way, the visual goal is achieved (Export link now appears above analysis results), but actually clicking "Export > Formatted > Excel" only results in OTBI exporting the blank static text box to an Excel file. Am I missing a step?

Hi Patrick, Well spotted. Yes that is right. It is not a solution. This only works I guess for Export if you then select Data CSV which is independent of format else you get nothing. So yes it is useless.

  • There is no such feature currently allowing these report links to be moved to the top of the page.
