Combining data from multiple Subject Areas in FDI generates wrong results

We tried to combine data from multiple FDI Subject Areas (2 or more) into one report according to the design principles. In some cases the results are good, but in many cases not. We always use a common dimension/attribute and at least one fact from each subject are. Several issues can occur:
- multiple amount or quantity than the real amount or quantity
- multiple rows for the same attribute (e.g. Inventory Item)
- only one fact from one Subject Area is shown
It happens with seeded Subject Areas and also combined with a local Subject Areas.
Does anybody has the same experience and what can be the cause and solution?

This is expected behavior in some cases. It all depends on how modelling was done internally, how joins are in place between columns across subject areas.
We advice you to raise an SR with FDI and provide more details of your reports having issues. We will go through the logs and advice accordingly.

Are there any standard guidelines somewhere for combining multiple subject areas within an FDI workbook?
