Change 1000 Seperator settings for OAS
we are working for an Indian customer. He wants to see the 1000 separators according to the Indian locale. For example, if a number is 1000000 which is 10 lac in the Indian locale, it should display as 10,00,000, whereas it is currently displaying as 1,000,000. Any idea to resolve this?

You can find all localization aspects and references to the files relevant for OAS in the official documentation: https://docs.oracle.com/en/middleware/bi/analytics-server/administer-oas/localize-oracle-analytics-server.html#GUID-A0B77903-B63B-42BB-87AD-B06DD8C94552

@Christian Berg Localization does not allow me to set the comma separator settings. only lets me define, where I want a dot, comma, or anything else. In a tile, it is automatically adjusting by converting 100000 to 1 lakh, but what I need is the comma to set automatically. But my customer requires when the value is in lakhs, crores, or thousands, it should be in Indian standards. Also, I am yet to find a default way to set the locale to India for all users. Do you have any idea about that?

There is an idea submitted for this in the Ideas lab. You can upvote it:

Yes, that's why I pointed you to the documentation. Your specific request has to go through the idea lab in order to be implemented in the product.
Re defaults you can look at the options for Server and Presentation Server here respectively:

Did you have a chance to look at the idea from the Ideas Lab I mentioned in my previous answer?
You can vote for it. You can also make comments on that idea and add more business requirements / features you would like the product to cover in the future related to the Indian Locale.
Regards,
Ezequiel.
