FAW Security Console update - 23.R4 release

Friends,
Upon logging on to FAW Security console, we are getting this notification.
- In the 23.R4 release following updates to the Security Console will be made as part of our continuous efforts to enhance security of your analytics applications.Users and Groups can only be created and managed in your Oracle Identity Cloud Service instance. They can be viewed but not changed in the Security Console.
- New Application Roles corresponding to Licensed Groups will be available. These roles will have system privileges such as Consumer, Author and Administrator. You can assign groups to these licensed roles.
These changes are mandatory and will be automatically applied as part of the 24.R2 update in May 2024. You can schedule the update sooner to enhance the security of your application.
Did anyone tried updating it earlier and how it is looks? Do we need to get access to OICS instance for security admins, so that they can provision the users for FAW. Any documentation that explains how to provision users from OICS will be helpful. The Oracle documentation is very pretty generic and hence wondering if anyone had a documentation created just for FAW user maintenance.

Thanks @Mallikarjuna Kuppauru-Oracle for the quick response. What roles will need to be assigned for the users in IDCS so that they can manage the FAW Security access. I referred the above links already and its pretty generic.

What roles will need to be assigned for the users in IDCS so that they can manage the FAW Security access. --> Your fusion roles means duty/data roles will be carry forward to IDCS based on fusion sync with IDCS . IDCS admin need to manage the user access , i don't think users need an permission to access the IDCS page.

can we perform the upgrade for FAW Non-PROD first and then schedule for PROD? or both will have to be done at the same time?

Yes, its fully customer controlled option . After login into FAW console page --> Go to: Release Updates Option and you can schedule the same.
If you think i have answered your question, feel free to accept the answer so that it will be an reference for other community members.
