Hi All,

We are implementing external authentication provider (MS-AD) for OBIA 11.1.1.10.1.

Used this link as reference. Also we followed the points mentioned below.

We are facing two issues since we implemented MS-AD as external authenticator :

1. 1. ODI Load fails with the error: ODI-10165: The RunAsUser BIAppsSystemUser is not a valid user from external user identity store. (for this support team has provided the attached doc to be followed)
2. 2. OBIEE Analytics page not opening with error: Error 500--Internal Server Error ,From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1: , 10.5.1 500 Internal Server Error , The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.

Oracle product Support Team says that ONLY OID is certified for OBIA 11g as external authenticator.

Our question here is:

1. Is there any work around to use MS-AD?

  It will be good to know in case any other project has faced / is facing the similar issue. MS-AD / LDAP are vastly used external authentication provider across the organizations, as per my knowledge.
