How to retrieve data from xml file which is loaded as data source in data model in oracle fusion

I have a requirement where report will have 2 data set.One data set will have xml file as data source and other data set will have sql query as data source.How to retrieve the data from the xml file data source and use in the other data set?Which function of SQL query used to retrieve xml data?

Really appreciate any guidance on this.

I have gone through both the link mentioned by you.I want to know how to extract the data from the XML file used as data source and used the same file in other data set whose source is sql query.
