Possibility to use parameters in Performance Tiles Labels and not only in Titles
Hello,
Since labels in Performance Tiles are more flexible in terms of formatting, I usually use them more than Titles as here I am only able to change font type, while in Labels, I am able to position them, align them, etc. Whenever I want to use a parameters in a Performance Tiles labels, the parameter reference gets replaced buy the actual parameter value so not functioning as it does in Titles.

It looks to me like you are using the old (deprecated) tile. Can you try the new one? (label will be in the measure property, not general)

I'm actually using the new Tile version….any ideas?
Thank you.
Best regards,
Jorge

Can you check which update level your instance is on in the About dialog? Also, look under the measures tab and let me know if you see a Label option.

Hi Gabby,
I don't see a "Label" option under "Measures"

This is odd. If you are on OAC, you might want to try to recreate the tile or open a support ticket. The properties in your screenshot are inconsistent with recent OAC updates (e.g., March).

I'm using OAS…

@Jorge Olmeda can you confirm you are on OAS 2024?
We added label support for primary & secondary measures on Tile and parameter support with OAC May 2023. So if you are on OAS 2024, you should see the Label in the Measure tab and also use the @parameter reference.

Thank you @Avinash Krishnaram-Oracle ! I'll check with our Support team.

Hello @Avinash Krishnaram-Oracle,
Testing OAS 2024 now and I can confirm use of parameters are not supported in Tiles > Values > Tile Label (custom)
I write this…
then change to other tab, make any change, go back and see this:
So parameter does not remain and replaced by actual value :-(
Thanks.
Cheers,
Jorge

@Avinash Krishnaram-Oracle I have encountered exactly the same behavior as @Jorge Olmeda - for Tile Label in properties reference to parameter (syntax @parameter("param name") gets always replaced with current value of corresponding parameter (when you navigate out of property panel and return back). I would classify this as product bug not as a request for new feature.
