I wanted to know if this document ID 2390118.1 is still valid today for OBIEE 12c.

I am able to see document is not yet archived. means its still valid document. This document is owned opss support team.

I would say that it is still valid, because it's your duty when you install the product to install on a certified environment. Therefore you should always check the certification matrix to make sure you are working with supported versions and products.
If you decide to use something not certified, when you face an issue you are alone: Oracle doesn't have to support you because you decided to go with an uncertified environment.
PS: never publish (or attach as PDF) the content of a MOS document in a public forum. That could get you in trouble because MOS documents are accessible only to people having a CSI and the content isn't publicly available and shouldn't be shared publicly. Just post the Doc ID and the link and users will go read the document.

Anyone has any idea why the OAC documentation on custom viz is not available now? I was able to access till last week - https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/paas/analytics-cloud/acsdv/build-package-extension.html. Does this mean OAC doesnt support custom viz or custom workbook extensions?
