Defaulting Flow Instance Name in Submit a Flow

Navigation: My Client Groups => Payroll => Flow Submission and Results => Submit a Flow
Select any Payroll Flow under “US Legislative Data Group”, say “Calculate Payroll”.
Above highlighted field “Payroll Flow” is currently a free text, and users are forced to enter a value every time a flow is submitted.
If Oracle can come up with a defaulting logic for this field, this will aid all customers immensely.
We do not see a provision for automating this at flow level, but Oracle can do this within the application internally.
The logic could be something like {UserName}_{FLowName}_{Timestamp}
Example: User “Curtis.Feitty” is submitting “Calculate Payroll” on 27th Jun 2024 09:00 AM EST, can default the flow name to “Curtis.Feitty_Calculate_Payroll_06272024_0900”

Just to add -
When you run "Calculate QuickPay" from the quick actions menu on the person record, it generates the Flow name automatically.
Something similar should be done for all other payroll flows as well.

This will be a huge win if it can be defaulted for all Payroll flows to ease the user interaction with Oracle by reducing one manual step in each submission. Waiting for Oracle to come up with some defaulting logic in future releases.

Yes. It breaks the current user flow of thought when he has to enter everything new about what to enter.
The defaulting logic will help users that don't want much specific.
The "OCD" ;) users ofcourse can enter what they really want :)

This will definitely be an added advantage for user base as well as for tracking/reporting purposes.

This is a requirement from our client as well, something they don't prefer to enter manually.
