Recently we are rolling out the security to our organization and are testing views right now with the end user. For our last test we were trying to see if we can have the drill down reports in a separate folder that can be only accessed through data actions and not through a folder via the catalog. Whenever I removed the user from the permissions of the folder, but gave the individual access to the report that was sitting in the folder they still weren't able to access it. This would help us not cloud the catalog with various reports that are all in our data actions. Would like to hear others' thoughts on this also!
