Merge Metadata Tables from 2 Different OBIEE servers

Hi all,

I'm a newbie in OBIEE :-)

I have installed 2 different instances of OBIEE server. Now i am trying to club these 2 servers into one server.

I have metadata tables saved in 2 different schemas of oracle DB (Dev1_BIPLATFORM,Dev1_MDS & Dev2_BIPLATFORM, Dev2_MDS)

Are there any inhouse tools with in the OBIEE admin to club these 2 into 1 schema.

Any pointers/approach/hints on this line would be helpful.

Problem obviously being that two different Agents in the two environments can have the exact same ID in the S_NQ tables... In terms of conflicts you're probably safer if you redeploy the Agents from environment A in environment B.

Hi,

i was trying to recreate a scenario i am facing  in dev instances.

I have a server A on DB A has metadata schema's. Similarly server B with DB B has again those schema's.

So now I have to merge above 2 into 1 DB's schema without any loss of data. Like any scheduled jobs should not get affected.

Here when i mean schemas *_BIPLATFORM, *_MDS.
