We'd like to understand what auditing is available and how detailed auditing would be enabled.  It may just be an OTBI report, it may require some settings changes.  It's not necessarily transactional, or roles (I found some of these reports) but more auditing of user accesses.
It's unclear to me if it's a separately licensed product in HCM or we get this for free?
Example questions I might get from HR; I don't even know if these are feasible?-In the past X date range, how many times did a user login?-Who has accessed a specific salary/payroll screen in the past 7 days? 
If HR were to identify sensitive data, is it possible to enable auditing on a handful of specific pages within HCM to see who is looking at it?

    Auditing from the Tools ⇒ Audit Reports allows you to view auditing for different products.
