Using HCM Workforce Core, I created a dataset to capture hire details from 2023. I set the data access to Automatic Caching, created a daily reload schedule and created an index to run upon refresh.

I then created a workbook from this dataset which returns ~70k rows and has 35 columns. The issue I'm running into is the initial load time, as well as the load time when applying a filter (Business Unit in my case) is taking upwards of 5 mins.

Any tips for how to improve the load times are greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.

You are doing all the right things. We have a couple KM Article with additional suggestions:

The key points are:

Disable Brushing if its not being used.

and

Add dashboard filters instead of workbook or canvas filters and if you are using them as prompts, add a default value.
