DV Tab Specific Security
In DV today, there is the ability to set security on workbooks. It would also be greatly beneficial to have a feature to set security on specific tabs within a workbook. For example, we have a use case today where there is a workbook with 10+ canvases that we would like to open up to a broad community. However, there is 1 tab in which there is confidential info and only part of the community should have visibility. Today, the workaround entails us creating an entirely new workbook just for this one tab. From a development angle we now need to maintain two workbooks rather than one. If we had tab level security this would eliminate the need for users to create additional one off workbooks, furthering the consolidation efforts.

We do have typical scenario. I am using Role based filters.
I think current Dataset Role based filters serves the purpose.

@Rajakumar Burra What you are describing is just an workaround. It is not about not showing any data on particular canvas for some users (by applying role based filters on data sets), but hide the whole canvas for them (if they are not eligible to see the content of this canvas). Basically it is about to have same granularity in permission setup for DV workbook as it is in classical dashboard - where you can set permission for particular dashboard page (equivalent of canvas in DV workbook) or even you can conditionally hide/display part of the page (section) based on some "security conditions". This should be implemented in DV workbooks as well.
