Methodology to move a hierarchy from HCM Empower to FDI

Wanting to move the position Hierarchy from Empower up into FDI. I am pretty new to FDI and never done this before. I see you can add a Hierarchy via the semantic extension. Would that be the correct method? Is there specific documentation for this. If so, I haven't been able to find it.

@JDCal For HCM Analytics, DW_POSITION_CF_DH stores position hierarchy information in column flattened format.

Position Dimension (DW_POSITION_D) is a effective dated table. While joining with Position Dimension, Join on Effective dates along with POSITION_ID

@JDCal Are you looking to bring in the Position Dimension hierarchy from Empower Database and replace the OOTB Position dimension hierarchy of FDI or you are looking to Extend the existing Position dimension with additional columns from Empower Position Dimension and later have them included as a part of the FDI Position Dimension hierarchy?
