Issue in Applying Sorting in Union Query Report
Hi,
We have a requirement to create P&L report with 6 months of Trailing Period Data, Since the Revenue Accounts , Total Revenue is from different levels of Hierarchy have used union query to show revenue accounts in one union query, Total Revenue in second Union query.
On Applying Sort Descending in the Fiscal Period to show data from latest Month. Sort works without union, on adding second union to the report.sorting on Fiscal Period in report doesn't work.
Is there a way we can apply sorting in the Union query report. below is the report sample layout
Any inputs would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Hi @Vaigu_27 ,
Thank you for the question. The biggest issue with two Unions on a Pivot Table would be performance.
Are you using the OAC Total functionality?
What are the results in a Tabular View/Workbook?
Does it make a difference if you add an additional filter "Fiscal Period is not NULL".
If this does not help, maybe you could provide a few more details.
Regards,
John
