FAW requires the use of "bundles" to properly backup the configurations and customizations created in FAW. These bundles are in addition to the ADW backups performed in OCI and replace the use of OAC snapshots. Currently, these bundles can only be performed manually, and no automation or scheduling can be done via a CLI or API interface. Oracle should package both backup and disaster recovery replication as an optional automated service for FAW.
