HR benchmarking data

Question

Hello All

We have recently been requested to pull HR bench-marking data, so we can do some analysis on KPIs and metrics that represent the typical performance within our sector. By comparing these data points with our own, we want to assess how we stack up against our peers and identify opportunities for growth. We are in the Construction sector.

Any recommendations for who the community use for their collation and distribution of bench-marking metrics would be greatly appreciated.

Taleo is just one aspect, our main bench-marking data is around Global HR data, so more your Core HR, Absence, Comp, Payroll Analytics. Many companies use Gartner for such metrics with a paid subscription, so just wanted to get an understanding on process, or if anyone has any insights on best practice or other providers they use in the Analytics space.

I'm not aware of a category here focused on Taleo as source, and moving this to OTBI will not help much (because it is more related to the Taleo kind of data than just generic OTBI).

Maybe have a look there as well to see if you find a category related to Taleo where you could ask? In the end the question is more a business question about that kind of data, other Taleo users maybe have done something similar and can give you some valid answers.

Post there as well, that should increase your chances to get a valid answer, in the meantime this one stays here as well (if you get a reply in the CCC forum, it would be nice if you can come back here and post it here as well to help other users who could have the same question).

Thanks for your response. We use OAC for Taleo, OTBI for operational reporting and will move to FDI in future.

If there are other forums where this could get more traction, then happy to move this post.
