SQL code runs fine in SplashBI SQL Connect tool but times out in Oracle BIP Data Model

Hi all - I have a SQL query that runs within a few seconds in my Splash BI (SQL Connect) query tool, however when I use this same code in the Oracle Data Model in BIP it runs for a long time and then eventually times out.

I am honestly stumped by this and would appreciate any insight as to why this is happening. I have attached the code for reference.

We have an SQL Query timeout for scheduled reports (seconds) ,refer below and we can't increase the limits you need to tune the query.

@Mallikarjuna Kuppauru-Oracle I appreciate the feedback, however I still am confused why an external (non-Oracle) tool can query the same data much quicker than the Oracle Data Model can?

I should clarify that this is our BIP within Oracle Fusion.

Hi @KDR

This is an Tool Limitation i.e how BIP has been designed. Look like your external tool don't have any timeout limitation.

You can apply some filters to reduce the running/execution time .
