The BI Publisher Add-ins for Office applications cannot be set to trusted in a policy because they are not digitally signed by the publisher. As part of ongoing security hardening and compliance with CISA guidance, Add-ins not digitally signed by a trusted publisher are now blocked. This seriously impacts BIP reporting since custom report templates cannot be maintained or developed.
This idea is to request that ALL Add-ins be digitally signed.
