Excel template to be generating output in Excel 2007 or Beyond versions

Our client had a requirement of a custom BIP report with 99+ columns to be fetched and expected volume of more than 1 Million per execution. Current functionality allows us to handle 99+ columns using an excel template, however the output generated being in Excel 2003, the fetched records get split into multiple tabs to post 65536 rows, due to version limitation. If the product is enhanced to generate output in later versions of Excel, this limit would be further increased to 1 Million+ records and would be highly efficient in catering business requirements.
