Can local users of Fusion domain can access Fusion analytics without a user in Fusion Applications.

Hi,
We know that only fusion users can access Fusion analytics has its fusion domain is associated with Fusion authentication.
Whether local users created in Fusion domain in OCI can access Fusion analytics or not. ?
As Fusion analytics login is redirection to fusion application login page we cannot access the Fusion analytics as a local user. Is this supported or not?
If supported how can we achieve this?

As you are using a single IAM domain, all users are created and managed within the same domain. Any user created in this IAM domain, by default, can access both Fusion Applications (FA) and Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI). Authorization access can be controlled through the assignment of appropriate application roles.

@Nagarani - Please let us know if you are using FAW/FDI or only Fusion Applications and referring to OTBI analytics. Also, kindly confirm if it's SSO enabled or not as well. Thanks!

Hi,
we are using FAW/FDI with fusion applications associated with it. SSO is not enabled.
Here our requirement to login into FDI using local user without fusion login.
We created a local user in fusion domain in OCI and want to access the FDI. But here FDI login is redirecting to FA login only as Fusion domain by default IDP is associated with oracle applications cloud(Fusion).
Is it possible have local users for FDI without fusion user ? If possible how it can be implemented?

@Nagarani - I assume your FDI and Fusion applications are installed on different IDCS or IAM domains. If yes, you need to create a local user in the IAM domain on which FDI is created and then try and login directly without using SSO login.

Hi,
FDI and Fusion are in same IAM domains. SSO is not enabled here.

@Nagarani - My bad! I missed that.
Please let me know what happens when below steps are followed:
1) Open a new browser session and input the OAX or OAC URL
2) It will redirect to IDCS login page.
3) Provide the local user credentials.
4) Then the landing page would be the OAX or OAC URL used. Please check and confirm.
It should ideally redirect you to the application URL used in step 1 since, in this setup, a single IAM domain is being used, and all users are created within the same domain. Thanks!

Hi,
1) Open a new browser session and input the OAX or OAC URL.
It is redirecting to FA login page.
2) It will redirect to IDCS login page.
It does not happen as FA domain has IDP defined to oracle applications cloud(Fusion).
So here without a Fusion user we cannot access the FDI.
Here now our question is whether can we bypass the FA login for FDI for local users to login.?
