How to setup LDAP configuration in BIpublisher

Hi All,

I need help in config the LDAP and assigning the roles to the users and catalog.

We have created XMLP_ADMIN group in LDAP and assigned XXX user to this group. While login to BI publisher with the XXX user unable to see the admin privileges.

Did you following any documentation to setup the LDAP? If you are using standalone with out analytics installation you can refer below for the process which is older doc but steps are same.

Hi,

It is standalone installation which is part of OAS(Oracle analytic server).

Steps followed.

1. Created XMLP_ADMIN in the LDAP
2. created user which is member of XMLP_ADMIN
3. configured LDAP in BI publisher
4. After restarting services unable to login with the user which is member of XMLP_ADMIN.

Another question for you, just to have a better understanding: as your Publisher is part of OAS, did you install the full OAS and are you using the Fusion Middleware security?

Or it's fully standalone and you followed Administering Oracle Analytics Publisher in Oracle Analytics Server

for the config of your LDAP?

Still unable to connect with the user who is member of XMLP .
