OTBI - Subject Area Overview & Standard KPI Calculation Guidelines

Question

Hello everyone,

I wanted to ask if there is a way to generate a list in BI Publisher (Cloud) that provides an overview of the available Subject Areas along with their respective fields. Alternatively, is there another method to display this information efficiently?

Additionally, I would like to know if there is a guideline or standard reference for KPI calculations, such as Headcount, FTE, #Absences, and others.

I don't think there is a way to generate this list in BIP. But you can check the data lineage sheet available on below thread:

Hi Engin,

OTBI SA Measures' definitions are not available for the recent releases but it was available previously for some prior releases. Please take a look into the following old documents but please note it will not contain any newly created measures or columns (or correct definition of measures if it got changed recently).

Especially look at:

Data Lineage documents will provide you the source of the Subject Area columns but it will not provide the calculation logic of the measure column. Here are the Data Lineage docs:
