Custom HTML/CSS for OAC DV
M.K.Mori
Rank 3 - Community Apprentice
In OAC DV, I'm often frustrated by the lack of styling options, where in Classic, custom (css) classes coupled with a bit of inline-, textbox-, or narrative-based html & css make all kinds of fixes and enhancements possible, even novel, otherwise unsupported visualizations. (Classic-style narrative-based css in particular is great for implementing dynamic, data-driven styles.)
I feel this would be a more practical alternative to endlessly extending formatting options exposed in the UI. The UI could expose the most popular options without overwhelming users, and without frustrating more niche or experimental designs.
Fwiw!
