For Usage Tracking Maximum Rows setting we have it set to maximum 100k which only gives us 3 hours of data. We wanted to set it to 0 and clean the database ourself once a week to get more data but support will not assist as its not recommended to set it to 0 for unlimited and mentioned a future enhancement. Would an enhancement be possible to allow a certain amount of logging based on time/date range or higher limit then 100k rows?

Welcome to the Oracle Analytics community and forum.

I would disagree with "it is not recommended to set it to 0" , this sounds a bit like the theories that for many years kept saying that logging and usage tracking had to be disabled to improve performances.

You are the only one able to know what kind of needs you have of your usage tracking data. Some need to keep it for a whole year, or even more, for auditing purposes, or to be able to identify inactive accounts and old content that nobody use anymore.

If you have 100k rows in 3h, the only thing you need to pay attention at is to make sure your database hosting the usage tracking tables has enough storage for your needs.

The config is quite simplistic: a number of rows and that's it.

If you want to keep 1 week of data, configure a scheduled task in your database (or outside with a script) deleting older content. You will be deleting 800k per day based on your metrics, not a big deal for a database table. You will not have any issue, your system will work fine, your database will not really be impacted by your usage tracking table having 5.6 millions rows.

You can even keep more than a week of data and keep a month or so, and still your table isn't going to be "huge".

A final note:

but support will not assist

What support? You have control on the settings yourself in your OAC or OAS. Or maybe you are using a different product? If it's your own internal support, ask them to explain why 0 isn't recommended, you will easily be able to prove them wrong…

If you have OAS, OAC, FDI or OBIEE/OBIA/OTBI, you can submit an idea (look on the top menu and pick the right category) asking for an enhancement to add more controls on the amount of data to keep in the usage tracking. If you are using a different product, name it and we will maybe find a place where you can submit the idea.
