Reporting Agent failed with error message SQLSetStmtAttrW

We have reporting agents set up which all ran into error, when normally no issues.

We have reporting agents set up for projected end dates upcoming for employees. This gets sent to Line Managers. The following error message came up when the agent ran into error.

SQLSetStmtAttrW

The oracle BI server is not currently running was the error message.

What does this mean, what failed to cause this error message? Is this a one off error on oracle side or is this our side?

The report runs outside of the agent. Now all of a sudden this agent keeps running into this server error. Thank you for your help.

Hi @Max W,

Assuming you are getting this issue with OTBI Agent.

If yes, please note the OTBI agent log is not available to the SaaS users. As a result of that it might be a good idea to raise an SR with Oracle support to investigate the Root Cause.

Oracle Support will have access to those Agent logs in the Server and they will be able to suggest better.

Additionally, if it is not a big work, please try to define the agent again and see if the new agent is working fine or not?
