Are there any configuration steps needed in IAM or IDCS to allow Oracle Analytics mobile app connections?
There are many blog posts about connecting to OAS but could not find any updated source for OAC, particularly the OAC embedded in FDI
All you should need is the OAC URL or you can scan the QR code in the OAC user profile.
Navigate to OAC in the desktop browser.
Click the User Avatar in the top right.
Select Profile.
Select Mobile Access.
On the phone open the app and tap the button to scan the QR code.
Hello @Victor H , We’ve trialed this feature with two customers in New Zealand. For individual mobile devices, no configuration is required in IAM or IDCS to enable Oracle Analytics mobile app connectivity.
However, for corporate-managed devices (iOS or Android), a Microsoft Intune policy package needs to be applied. This would typically be managed by your organization’s Azure AD team.
From my own experience, I was able to access the OAC mobile app either by entering the OAC URL directly or scanning the QR code available in the user profile. It’s definitely proven useful for day-to-day operations beyond just dashboard access.
Note : If Single Sign-On (SSO) is not configured or integrated correctly in OCI Tenancy, users may need to enter their credentials repeatedly.
I’ve connected to OAC using the mobile app specifically the OAC instance embedded within FDI by entering the OAC URL as the source and signing in via IDCS SSO, since our single sign-on is already integrated with OCI IDCS.
Might be a question for @Jacques V.-Oracle
Does Oracle Analytics Server 2026 include AI features such as a built-in chatbot or AI Assistant? If not, are there any plans or indications that these AI capabilities will be introduced in a future OAS release?
Here is my calculation CAST(COUNT(SAAR_ID) AS VARCHAR(50)) || ' SAARs pending as of: ' || CAST(CURRENT_TIMESTAMP(5) AS VARCHAR(50))
In OAC when I am creating a dataset, How can I pass a Filter from the "Dashboard filters to the SQL? I attached a image like it was don in BIP Publisher
How can you put a total number of records in your oracle OAC table footer
