Get Permissions for All Objects in the Catalog
I'm trying to get for all objects in the catalog. So I can confirm that permissions look appropriate for audit. I've look through this forum and see various responses, but nothing concrete.
I've tried to use the API to use the API to do this: https://docs.oracle.com/en/middleware/bi/analytics-server/oap_rest_api/op-v1-reports-reportpath-get.html.
However, I can't get it to work, and I don't see permissions as an example output so it may not matter anyway.
Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

Quick Question: Which tool / toolset are you using here?

In case if you are looking for Fusion SaaS catalog (OTBI, BIP etc.), here's the idea.
Report that provides a list of permissions for all folders in BI Catalog — Oracle Analytics
Please check and vote / comment so that Oracle might consider this for future release.

Hi,
Currently, it is not possible to extract the list of permissions for objects in catalog. There are multiple ideas submitted for same.
The REST API link you shared is to get the list of BIP report jobs only.

I see this one:
It looks like it would return what I'm looking for. However when I try a basic catalog api I get a 404:
/api/20210901/catalog
maybe this is not the same type of catalog.

The link you've shared is applicable for 'Oracle Analytics Cloud' which is different than the catalog that is available as part of Oracle Fusion Cloud (SaaS).
It seems it is not possible for the Catalog of Oracle Fusion Cloud (SaaS) as of yet.
Please find below the Idea that has been raised to request availability of such capability.
