can't play video recorded in Open Script 12.5 using new video feature

We recorded a video in Open Script 12.5 but when we try to play it, the screen_player.jar does not show a horizontal window of the player so we are unable to open the recording. Does this mean the screen_player didn't load? Is it supposed to be included in the 12.5 upgrade? I can't find information on this. I did check properties for XX:-UseSplitVerifier and it is showing in the target field. Thanks, Vicki
