Client cannot view report data

Question

I have create a report BIP with data model but when the user execute it the result is empty when I can see data

If this is still no fixed, can you provide the query? Accessing data from some tables require adequate roles and privileges.

Hi Diego,

Is the BIP DM based on SQL query or OTBI analysis? OTBI Analysis inherits the application security. But if it is SQL based, are you using any secured views to restrict the data? If yes, try removing those and retry.

Hey Diego,

It looks like to be a permission issue. Verify User Permissions:

* The user running the report might lack access to required data.
* Confirm role-based security settings and ensure the user has read access.
* Please schedule the report directly from BIP application by enabling the diagnostics log option for both users. Once the process is completed, Compare  BIP Diagnostics log for both user.( There should be '1=2' condition for the non-working user)
