How can I call a rest api from an bip data model

Hi,
The test case is spcific, but the question is general
We have a report and we want to add the item cost
we found the API /fscmRestApi/resources/11.13.18.05/itemCosts/{itemCostsUniqID}
But: how can we call the API from the data model so it is shown as one of the items in the report ?
