Event based autoprovisioning of AORs

Summary:

With auto-provisioning of roles, the rules run when the process is run OR during an employment event (i.e. if someone is hired and fits the criteria of an auto-provisioning rule, they will get the roles).

We are looking to start using AOR templates to auto-provision AORs, however, it doesn't seem the provisioning is event based, but HAS to be done via the process. Is there a way to auto-provisioning during employment actions such as hiring instead of only when the process runs?
