Can you "turn off" the AI/ML functions in OAS2025?

Hello.

We are in the process of upgrading our system to OAS 2025 (from 2023).  The integration of Machine Learning and Natural language capability into the core DV tool is intriguing to us, but due to the sensitivity (HIPAA regulated PII) data we have in our source data warehouse, we need to proceed very deliberately and carefully, with security audits and various other checkboxes before we roll it to our end users.

Is there a way to turn off any AI/NLP/ML functionality within the DV tool, while still maintaining user access to visualizations and dashboarding and the other core functionality?  Can we do it on a user by user or role by role basis?

There are several AI/ML/NLP capabilities in OAS 2025. In your question I assume you mean the features that exist in the context of building visualizations (aka, not the Dataflow related capabilities for exp) . Let me know if wrong. In the context of canvas viz building, OAS25 allows

* 1 Right-click Advanced Analytics (on a viz)
* 2 Explain column (on a dataset column in the canvas)
* 3 Auto Insights
* 4 Contextual Insights
* 5 Scenarios.
* 6 NLP Vizs
* 7 Ask capability

Note that all these are there for Authors building vizs, but only #4 can be exposed (or not) to consumers consuming prebuilt canvas/dashboards. So I assume your question is about Authors building canvas. Currently you can only 'fully'  disable #6 (Auto Insight)s as an ML feature in the OAS product. Capabilities #1 to #6 are all available by default to all Authors.
