DAC Server resilience: OBIA 7.9.6.4

Hi There,

We have a situation where we may loose db conection for couple of seconds during the our db(SQL Server) failover and re-establish connectivity as its set-up on cluster.

When ever we loose the connection during this failover situation DAC Server is crashing.

Is it possible to set-up DAC Server to keep on trying for connection for few mins eg. 5 mins, is there a way to set this up?

You did create a new one. I just wondered whether the two were liked since the other thread also goes back to an ORA-03135 error with db connectivity getting dropped.

Thanks Chris, I just looked at the other thread, but its connecting to oracle db.

But in my case its SQL Server DB. so wondering what is the change.

Clustering, firewalls...connectivity issues are unfortunately platform-independent. For the DAC in 7.9.6.4. I can't find a config option for your issue.
