Couldn't do a supperscript in RTF file
Hi all,
I'm currently working on a BI Publisher RTF template for a job offer letter in Oracle Fusion HCM. In the template, I manually formatted text (e.g., the "th" in "13th") using superscript formatting via Microsoft Word.
However, when I preview the output in PDF or generate the final document from Fusion, the superscript formatting does not appear as expected. I've tried multiple approaches:
- Formatting via Word’s font settings (superscript)
- Using BI Publisher expressions like
<?sup th?> - Ensuring the font is compatible (e.g., Verdana, size 9)
- Testing both preview from Word plugin and from Fusion
Unfortunately, none of these seem to work.
Has anyone faced this issue with superscript not rendering in BI Publisher output?
Any suggestions or best practices for handling this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Looks like this is not supported in RTF templates:
Support for Superscript in RTF Output for BI Publisher — Oracle Analytics
Thanks.
