【Dashboard】Enable Reliable URL Linking Without Encoding Issues

We would like to raise a request regarding the handling of URL links from dashboards to Data Visualization (DV) or Answer in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC).
Currently, when the target file name includes certain characters—such as parentheses ( )
—an error occurs during navigation via the URL link.
This seems to be caused by a system limitation where such characters are not properly encoded or interpreted within the URL.
Below is a summary of the current issue and our improvement request:
■ Matter
When accessing Data Visualization or Answer from a dashboard via a URL link,
an error occurs if the target file name contains parentheses (e.g., “(”).
This appears to be due to a system specification that does not allow such characters in the file name to be properly interpreted in the URL.
■ Request
We currently copy and paste URLs from opened files to create links.
However, due to character encoding issues, the links sometimes fail unless we manually adjust the characters.
We request that URLs work automatically without requiring manual character conversion.
Alternatively, we would like the ability to select a DV (Data Visualization) target directly from the catalog when configuring link destinations, instead of entering URLs manually.
We would greatly appreciate it if you could review this request and consider it for a future enhancement.
