【OAC】Request for Feature Parity Between Classic and non–Classic Home (modern) Interfaces

We would like to bring to your attention a functional inconsistency between the Classic Home and non–Classic Home (modern) interfaces in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), specifically related to catalog file operations.
In the Classic Home interface, users can copy catalog files created in Data Visualization (DV) even when they do not have edit permissions for the target folder.
However, the same operation cannot be performed from the modern interface, which limits usability and causes confusion among users.
Below is a summary of the current issue and our request:
■ Matter
In the Classic Home interface, it is possible to copy catalog files created in Data Visualization (DV)
even into folders where the user does not have edit permissions.
However, in the non–Classic Home (modern) interface, users are unable to copy catalog files from those same folders.
■ Request
We would like all functionalities available in the Classic Home interface
to be equally available in the non–Classic Home (modern) interface as well.
We would appreciate it if you could review this request and consider it as part of future improvements.
