OAC AI provides great visual insights using natural-language prompts. However it lacks support for formatting outputs directly through prompts. Proposing this idea to enhance AI capabilities to include support for
- Formatting numeric values via prompt (such as Thousands/Millions with suffixes, Decimal precision, Abbreviate numbers, etc.,)
- Populating data labels via prompt (such as Showing or hiding value labels on charts, Specify Totals/percentages to display on bars/pies,etc.,)
- Enabling totals in Tables via prompt (like Show Spend by region with Grand Total, etc.,
This will improve prompt-driven dashboard building and saves time by eliminating post-prompt manual formatting. Also enhances adoption among business users with less technical skill.
