In Excel you can see at the bottom a sum, average, count, etc., for the cells selected. It would be great if that level of analysis could also be added to DV - sometimes what a user wants to consider is already visible on the screen and doesn't require further filtering or changes to the visualization, only to be able to quickly aggregate some data seen.
DV should offer a comparable way to automatically calculate basic functions for selected data points.
