New to Oracle Fusion: reporting & ETL challenges when moving data to a warehouse?

I’m fairly new to the Oracle Fusion ecosystem and eager to learn from those who have gone before me. If you’ve had to extract data from Oracle Fusion—using OTBI, BIP, or other methods into your own data warehouse, I’d love to hear about your experiences.

What kinds of obstacles have you run into with Oracle Fusion, particularly in reporting and in ETLing data to your Data Warehouse?

What workarounds, connectors, or best practices have you found most helpful to ensure clean, timely data for downstream analytics?

This seems to be a duplicate post so I'll respond to the same here:

I just noticed you have not received any responses. This Community discusses the pre-built FDI Data Warehouse and all the other features that come with FDI.

Building your own custom Data Warehouse from Fusion would be difficult and time-consuming (putting it mildly).

If you search Youtube for FDI, you will see a number of videos regarding it too.
