Allow folder security to drive all access to DV objects
DV workbooks have permissions split across 2 tabs (Share & Access), but only the Access portion is available to set at a folder level to be inherited by objects within. A similar situation exists for Data Sets.
When a (power) user of the system wants to share content in Classic BI, that would be managed via folder permissions. Contents saved into a shared folder are then available for others to view and modify based on the folder settings.
In DV, there is an additional step required to set the "Share" tab for the same roles, which is often not possible without engaging someone with elevated security privileges - leading to an unnecessary bottleneck. This prevents a full self-service analytics environment.
Separating DV permissions into 2 tabs without making both of those tabs available at the folder level is a significant barrier and needs to be fixed.
