Introducing Salary Components–Simple Component, Incremental Component, Pay Rates based Salary Basis
In the 25R3 release, we have introduced new dimensions for the subject area HCM – Workforce Rewards – Salary Basis: Incremental Components, Simple Components and Salary Basis Pay Rates, that provide detailed information on the various salary basis components.
How do salary components aid in analysing compensation?
The salary components offer granular insights into the elements that make up the salary structure, helping to understand how each component impacts the total compensation. This detailed analysis also allows organizations to make more informed decisions when planning compensation and ensuring fairness across the workforce. Understanding these components helps in identifying trends, optimizing pay structures, and aligning compensation with company goals.
How do I access these new dimensions?
These enhanced dimensions become available once the associated functional area, Salary Basis Snapshots, is activated under Preview Features.
Step 1 : In Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI), navigate to the Administration console, and click Enable Features.
Step 2 : On the Preview Features tab, under Functional Areas, toggle the Salary Basis Snapshots feature to On.
