Pivot in Data Flow

Question

Hi All,

I am working on a Data Flow in Oracle Analytics Cloud and would like to know if there is a Pivot transformation available within Data Flow.

I need to pivot rows into columns as part of my data preparation, but I am not seeing any direct option for Pivot in the Data Flow UI.

Yes, it is not currently supported and vote for the idea as mentioned above.

As an alternative, consider using an external system / ETL tool that does support pivot, then bring the transformed data into OAC.

Hi Brendan,

Thanks for the quick response. I followed the document and it is helpful for Unpivot operations. However, I need to perform a Pivot operation. Could you please let me know if there is any function or option available in OAC Data Flow to pivot data?
