Data Flow indexing action for AI Assistant
AI Assistant is very helpful for end users to look for specific details within the Workbook/Dashboards developed. Often data that is connected gets enriched with supplemental data, mappings, alias tables etc.
OAC/FAW's feature Data Flow is the function that really sets DV a part for BI by being able to force blends, unions, data enrichments etc.
Unfortunately, there is no action/function in Data Flow to index the final data set being produced. As DF can be set on a schedule that makes it helpful to maintain refreshed data, however, every time that flow is executed, any final data set steps taken manually directly in the final data set created by DF will be over written.
If indexing was an action/feature in data flow, AI assistant could be used with all blended data reports created adding in AI assistant as a standard for all dashboards/workbooks created.
