Hi

I have a requirement from a customer, where the customer needs a demo to see BI applications is integrated with other data sources apart from Oracle EBS (preferably Siebel CRM).

Kindly help me by sharing some document or some links that might contain screenshots of few steps and explanations. Any help is appreciated.

    "Is integrated" means basically "reads data from another source". That's the whole reason OBI exists and what it does so "screenshots of few steps and explanations" is just...well using the product itself. No difference between an Excel sheet, Siebel CRM, an Essbase cube or a Hive/Impala source.

    Thanks for your response to my post. What I want actually is that how to integrate with other data source without using the pre built adaptor. (making use of universal adaptor).

    Ok let's step back one second: Do you mean "use the data in OBIEE" or "ETL / ELT the data into data marts through ODI"?

    Because "OBIA" is just a bunch of tools which do different things. And those tools - specifically OBI and ODI - have no dependecy on each other whatsoever.

    Preferably the ETL: part. The customer wants a presentation on how you integrate OBIA with Siebel CRM using Universal adaptors unlike the pre built adaptors. So if I have a document that explains the steps to configure the universal adaptor for Siebel applications will be helpful.

    Which version of OBIA are you suing? Because the question is: Are you still on Informatica or ODI?

    We use OBIA 11.1.1.8.1 with ODI.
