Hello Oracle Community,

I have successfully created an integrated instance for FDI and configured the data pipeline parameters. After that, I completed the setup for the functional areas. At this level, the standard dashboards are enabled, and I can access them.

However, I’ve noticed that some dashboards return “No Data Found.” I would like guidance on:

1. What the recommended next steps are to troubleshoot these dashboards.
2. What configurations or adjustments might be needed in the security setup to ensure full access to data.

Any advice or best practices on resolving this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

As per your message, I could understand the data pipeline parameters has been configured. Did you run the data pipeline? Data from fusion application to Datawarehouse loaded?

Please make sure the relevant data of your dashboard present at the ADW.

Once you find the data at ADW, check the security configuration that the user you're accessing has the duty role and data role access relevant to your subject area of your dashboard.

After all of this step, if you still find no data, enable developer option on your settings and then you can able to get the logic SQL generated at the backend of the dashboard. Run the SQL at SQL developer and check any filter conditions restricting your data.

Yes, the data pipeline parameters have been configured and the pipeline was executed successfully. I can see that several standard dashboards are returning data, which confirms that the data is loaded into the ADW.

However, I am still facing “No Data Found” in some dashboards within Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence.

At this stage, my main challenge is understanding the required Duty Roles and Data Roles in general for FDI subject areas and dashboards.

For testing purposes, we created a user with full privileges:

• Assigned all standard FDI application roles
• Added all relevant OCI groups
• Provided broad access permissions

Despite this, some dashboards still return no data.

Could you please clarify:

1. What are the mandatory FDI Duty Roles required at the application level?
2. How should Fusion Data Roles be mapped to FDI subject areas?
3. Is there a recommended security matrix or best practice for FDI role configuration?
4. Are there additional steps required after pipeline execution (e.g., warehouse reset, data access synchronization)?

Additionally, if anyone has completed a full FDI implementation, could you please share any documentation, role mapping matrix, or implementation guide that outlines the security configuration and go-live checklist? This would be very helpful as we are preparing to go live using the standard dashboards.

You did not share dashboard belong to which Fusion module that is giving No Data Found.

But we need to remember FDI mirrors Fusion security, so you need to look at the

• Data Roles
• Data Access Sets
• Ledger access
• BU security

and figure out what is missing.
